At Woodland Park, the safety of all our students is a top priority. We rely on parents and students to follow guidelines and expectations when arriving and leaving our school grounds. We appreciate the support of parents who routinely model and reinforce safety practices with their children.

As you already know, with the location of some portables in the staff parking lot, we must restrict the vehicle traffic flow in and out of the parking area. To ensure the safety of each of our students, we must keep vehicle movement to a minimum. To this end, most of our staff will be parking at the Hespeler Arena. Parents and volunteers are also expected to park at the arena. The parking lot is not designed as a drop-off zone. It is important that all parents abide by these guidelines to ensure the safety of all students.

Our parking lot crossing guard, Patrick, is on duty 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. Please follow his direction in a courteous manner. Remember that our crossing guard is working for the safety of all students.

When dropping off/picking up your child, please give yourself enough time to park at the arena and support the safety of all of our students.
