Tomorrow (Friday) is a PA day so there is no school for students. Staff will be spending the day working on report cards. Also, tomorrow our New Impressions choir will be singing O’Canada at the Rangers game. Go Bears and Go Rangers!

Our principal, Mr. Schlegel, will be leading a math night for parents on Monday, February 13th at 7:00 pm. Parents are encouraged to attend this informative and interactive event and learn about the new math initiative from the Ministry of Education. Please call the school if you would like to attend this event. Responses are due by February 6th please.
On February 14th our Me to We team is holding another bake sale. Last year’s bake sale was such a success we’re trying it again! Parents are able to order (and pay for) baked goods (by the dozen only) through School-Day as well as indicate if they are interested in baking for this event. Please watch for more information coming home soon.
School Council is hosting another movie night! Join us in the gym on Friday, February 24th to see Moana. The doors open at 6:00 p.m., the movie starts at 6:30 and will end at approximately 8:15 p.m. All members of the Woodland Park community are welcome so bring your friends and family and come spend the evening with us. Admission is $1.00 at the door. Snacks will be available to purchase — popcorn, cheese pizza and water will be sold for $1.00 each on a first-come, first-served basis, or you may bring your own food. Please note: all students must be accompanied by an adult.
Hespeler Public School is hosting “Comedy in Motion” with Bob Cates. Bob is a Canadian juggling champion and physical variety artist that has been delighting audiences full time for 20 years. He keeps them laughing! This event is open to the public and takes place on Friday, February 10th at 6:30pm. Tickets are $8 for kids, $10 for adults or $40 for a family pass.
