FORMS/PLANNERS
The first day forms (data verification, medical, lunch, use of personal information) should be completed and returned to school as soon as possible. It is important that we have up-to-date information for all of our students. Planners can be paid for on School-Day ($7.25).
PEANUT/ NUT SAFE AND FRAGRANCE-FREE SCHOOL
Due to severe allergies, Woodland Park is a peanut/nut safe and fragrance-free school. Please refrain from sending any peanut/nut products to school with your child, as well as wearing scented products into the school.
MORNING ARRIVAL and ENTRY
Our school playground is not supervised until 8:35 a.m. Students should not arrive before that time unless coming for a scheduled practice or rehearsal. Please note that on rainy days, and extremely cold days, students may enter the school, through their normal entry doors at 8:35 a.m. when the bell will ring three times. Parents are requested to remain outside and allow their child(ren) to make their way to their classroom on their own. Students who walk to school are reminded to cross roads carefully, at traffic lights or with the assistance of an adult crossing guard who is available at some busy intersections. Students who ride their bicycles to school must walk their bikes on school property, both before and after school. Thank you for your cooperation to help ensure the safety of everyone!
NEW ORLEANS PIZZA DAYS
Will we continue with our New Orleans Pizza every Thursday at first nutrition break (10:45 p.m.). Pizza will be available to pre-order on School-Day only. Orders are taken for a 12 week block three times per year (September, December and March). Pizza will not be saved for absent students and late orders will not be accepted. Ordering details will be made available soon.

- Meet the school administration
- Meet other parents
- Become involved in your child’s school community
MEDICATION AT SCHOOL
In situations where a physician deems it necessary that prescribed drugs be administered to a student at school, the Board’s approved medication form must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian. (A copy of this form is available at the office as well as under the About Us tab, School Forms.) Prescribed inhalators should be handled in the same manner. Please note – school personnel do not handle non-prescription medication.
Children requiring emergency Epi-pen injections:
School personnel will administer Epi-pen injections as an emergency response to allergic reactions when the necessary, signed forms are provided. These forms have been sent home with applicable students. If your child(ren) requires an epi-pen and you did not receive these forms, please contact the office.
STUDENT WITHDRAWAL
Parents are asked to complete the Student Withdrawal form when students will miss 5 or more days of school. The form is available from the office as well as under the About Us tab, School Forms.
SCHOOL OFFICE HOURS
The office is open between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. If you wish to report an absence, please call our Safe Arrival Program line at 519-570-8149, ext. 3381# – the line is available 24/7.
