SCHOOL CLOSURE/ BUS CANCELLATION Due to Inclement Weather

Winter is closer than we think! Each winter we run the risk of school closure or bus cancellation due to inclement weather.  Should adverse weather conditions arise before school opens, please be sure to listen carefully to one of the radio stations listed below to obtain information on closures or cancellations or check the Board website at www.wrdsb.on.ca.   We will also post a message on Twitter @WoodlandParkPS. When you hear on the radio that the bus routes in Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich are cancelled, that does not affect Woodland Park studentsWoodland Park only has a few students that are transported by bus.  As a result, Woodland Park will be open unless the announcement indicates “All Schools Are Closed”.   Please do not telephone the school.

Please note that if the weather deteriorates during the school day we will remain open until the regular dismissal time at the end of the day.  Parents may, however, choose to keep children home or may choose to pick up children during the day.

If the school is closed, do not send or drop your child off at the school.  It is the responsibility of parents to make alternate arrangements for children.
